    Portair picture of Nick Wainwright

Nick started his career in EMC at GEC-Plessey Telecommunications in 1988, carrying out emissions and immunity testing on telephones and telephone systems. He joined York Electronics Centre in 1990 as an EMC Engineer. Nick was promoted to Senior EMC Engineer in 1992 and then EMC Test Manager when York EMC Services Ltd was formed in 1995. Shortly afterwards, the new state of the art laboratory was opened in Castleford.

Nick has built up an in-depth knowledge of EMC standards and test methods which he is able to communicate to others on the company's short course and workshop programme.
