    About this event

The current Forth Road Bridge is showing signs of deterioration and is not suitable as the long-term main crossing of the Firth of Forth. The Forth Replacement Crossing strategy is designed to safeguard this vital cross-Forth connection in Scotland's transport network and includes both a new bridge and revised use of the current Forth Road Bridge.

The talk will encompass an overview of the projects history, including the development work undertaken with respect to the new cable stayed bridge and its connecting road network design, details of the procurement and parliamentary processes implemented, and details relating to the projects construction.
Open to members and non-members alike.
