Welcome to the IET Aberdeen Younger Members website.  Here you’ll find information and links to events going on in and around the Aberdeen area. 

The aim of the Younger Members section is to create a network for the next generation of engineers to meet and discuss the topics and themes which are of greatest importance to them.  Throughout the year we organise a range of events which we believe hold particular interest to students, graduates and young professionals living and working in the Aberdeen area.  Activities can range from presentations and interactive workshops through to informal social events.  Please see our ‘Younger Members Aberdeen’ facebook page and the ‘Scotland North’ LinkedIn page for an up to date list of upcoming events.

The Younger Members committee is responsible for arranging the program of events for each year.  We hold regular monthly meetings, normally on the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Old School House, Belmont Street.  Meetings are relaxed and friendly and we are always delighted to welcome new people who have an interest in helping shape and run upcoming events.  Feel free to check the next committee meeting date and time via the above links and just come along, or drop us an email if you would like to know more.
