    Arc flash is not a new phenomenon, however in an increasingly safety conscious world, and as required in law, the undertaking of a risk assessment is part of the protection of workers.

    The symposium discussion will include: compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations and the PPE Regulations, recent changes to IEC 61439, switchgear testing and design, arc flash analysis and calculations, and the European approach to electrical arc risk assessment.
