About this event
The following highlights will be presented:
- How structured light is helping improve the accuracy of radio-therapy in the treatment of cancer? What are the mechanics of cancer cells, and how do they differ from normal cells? Could this insight lead to a new view on cancer and radiotherapy?
- How lower cost fibre lasers offer great potential for the machining of carbon fibre composites?
- How the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Group are developing the highest efficiency grinding machines yet, and reducing cutting fluid use to a mere trickle?
