Email notices
The Mersey & Western Cheshire Local Network sends out regular emails to members, with reminders of forthcoming events and notification of any programme changes.
These emails are sent out using the email addresses members have had registered on the main IET membership database, but only if the member has also opted to receive Local Network emails. You can register or update your email address, and opt to receive our emails, via the IET website: -
- Login at the top of the screen, then select Membership/Manage your membership/My IET – your details and subscriptions/My contact details.
- Use Edit to add or update your email address.
- Then select My communications and ensure the other emails about: Local Network box is ticked,
You may find it easier to use the IET aliasing service, which gives you an @theiet.org email address.You can then let the IET, and any other contacts (IET or not) have this email address. Any email sent to this address is automatically forwarded to your nominated email address, which you can change as often as you want. You can also set this up using the Manage your membership facility (see above)
