As in many of the engineering domains, the UK has more achievements in space - both historical and current - than are generally known. This talk will look back at our past before examining the current state of play and the role of 'UK space' in generating economic returns.

UK plans for the future will also be described, particularly in the light of the recent European Space Agency's Meeting of Space Ministers.
