We are pleased to welcome this presentation by Eirgrid on the proposed High Voltage DC interconnector project which will electrically link Great Britain and Ireland complementing the Moyle interconnector from Scotland to Northern Ireland.
The presentation and discussion by Ciaran Geany will cover the voltage source converter (VSC) technology and its benefits, the project progress to date, major milestones, and how the East West Interconnector compares to other interconnectors.
