About this event

The recent history of automotive technology reflects patterns broadly analogous to certain aspects of Darwinian evolution.

This presentation explores parallels between the evolution of biological species and automotive varieties in mechanisms of change such as adaptation, competition for resources, shared structures, transitional forms,  and environmental niches.  The role of external display is also considered.

Lunch is available before the lecture at a cost of £13.50 per person. Lunches must be pre booked with Mike Ward and are payable on the day.
