Events and other networking opportunities for engineers and technologists throughout England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The IET welcomes engineers and technologists from everywhere in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, to join its technical communities and participate in its local events and other activities. Approximately 120,000 IET members reside in this region, served by our Local Networks (LN) and Specialist Technical Networks, which encompass the entire breadth of engineering disciplines within the IET.
There are 44 Local Networks (LN) spread throughout this region. Each network is run by a group of enthusiastic IET volunteers, who organise and provide events, visits, lectures and other activities for the public in their local geographic area of the UK.
