This lecture will trace the history of the development, illustrated by films and photographs, and touch on the true opportunity for marine renewable energy and its potential contribution towards reducing Global Warming.
Trident Energy Ltd. is a UK marine renewables company that has developed a patented, new and uncomplicated technology for converting the energy of sea waves to electricity. Supported by private equity and government grants, Trident Energy has taken the idea from initial concept right through to the building and testing of the first full scale trial system off the Harwich Coast.
