Auckland LN Student Prizes

The IET Auckland Local Network currently awards 10 student prizes annually under the “IET Local Network Prize for Student Excellence on a –non-accredited Course at a Higher Education Establishment” category. 

The prize winners are selected by the Head of Department at each establishment on the basis of having achieved excellence on a course that has a syllabus that falls within the IET scope of interests. 

The following student prizes are awarded: 

University of Auckland

• Best student completing Part3 of BE (Electrical and Electronic Engineering)
• Best student completing Part3 of B (Computer Systems Engineering)
• Best Student (Software Engineering)
• Best student completing part 3 of BE (Mechanical) degree
• Best student completing Part3 of the BE (Mechatronics) degree
• Best student completing Part 3 BTech degree in Information Technology

Massey University (Albany Campus)

• Best student completing Part 3 BEng degree

Manukau Institute of Technology

• Best student completing BE (Electronics and Computing) degree

Auckland University of Technology

• Best student completing BE in Electronic and Electrical degree

University of Waikato

• Top student completing Electronic Engineering degree
