New England Network prior year's events
Since it started organizing meetings in the fall of 1997, the New England Network has held between four and six meetings per year on a wide range of subjects.
Our members predominantly live in the greater Boston area or within commuting distance of New York City in New Jersey, southwestern Connecticut and the Hudson river valley. To accommodate this we initially held our meetings in Hartford, Connecticut, and Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Both locations were within reach of both groups but the choice favoured one group or the other so that an overnight stay might be avoided. As participation by those in the Hudson valley area declined, we stopped the Hartford meetings in favour of weekday meetings in New York City. About once every two years we hold a feature event in Schenectady, New York, the home of the General Electric company and a place of significance to all electrical engineers.
