Advanced engineering concepts for next generation technologies
The city of Glasgow is historically associated with heavy engineering such as ship building. Today, universities and colleges in the area are focused on developing the engineering technologies and industries of tomorrow. From developing nanotechnology systems for extracting drinking water from sea water, to manoeuvring spacecraft the size of golf balls around the solar system. This talk will describe some of the research being pursued by the University of Strathclyde.
