The Benelux committee is active in the following countries:

  • Belgium
  • The Netherlands
  • Luxembourg

The IET in Benelux has about 400 members spread over the three countries with concentrations where you might expect: Den Haag, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Eindhoven. We would welcome contact with other engineers in the Benelux - we aim to deliver value to the engineering profession and society, not just to our members. Please visit the events calendar to find details of what we are planning.

We work closely with the Benelux branches of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), the Institution of Civil Engineers, and the British Computer Society (BCS). We would welcome the opportunity to work closely with any and all other engineering associations and institutions in the Benelux.

We also support the European Institute of Industrial Leadership (EIIL) and are working with them on a major conference series around Europe addressing the shortage of engineering skills and talent in Europe. Leaders of academia, industry, schools, the European Commission, professional institutions, and government will give their perspectives on the problem and what they will do about it. For more details, please visit the EIIL web site and click on the Leaders of Industry Conference Program in the left hand column.
