I am designing the distribution circuit for equipment to be sent to the US.
The equipment will be supported by an UPS from the US, and to get the correct voltage for my equipment I will be providing a 3-phase ste-down transformer, from 480 to 415 volts. My question is do I step down the voltage before passing through the UPS or vice-versa? |

My question is do I step down the voltage before passing through the UPS or vice-versa? You state that the UPS will be a US model therefore it will expect to see a US 3 phase supply not a stepped down UK supply. Therefore UPS first then into your step down transformer. |
