Would anyone in a CPS whose scope of "membership" limits them to JUST a few jobs be prepared to post how often they get an assessment from their chosen scheme provider?

Regards

I am not sure if any of the other schemes offer "a few jobs membership" package" but one of my fellow lecturers is in the NAPIT just 8 scheme which allows him to do up to 8 jobs a year. The CPS scheme rules allow for risk based assessment so if you are a good boy/girl you can be assessed at periods up to a maximum of 3 years. I am hoping this scheme will be extended to Approved Contractors.

The CPS may allow for risk based assessments but my scheme have yet to implement it. I would have hoped that if I was being a naughty boy then they would tell me so I could put things right.

Never been told of any problems - but still on a yearly assessment - well usually about 15 months by the time they get their act together.

I've been full scope DI with the nic for 7 years and although never had any non-compliances or complaints at assessment time am still on yearly visits,

Dave.

3 yearly assessments would result in a 66% drop in revenue when compared to yearly assessments...
