Tidy darts!

Any idea when/if a revised commentary will be released?

Got to wait till I get home to download it, unless I hit a free wifi spot on my travels

So, what does it say about TN-C-S (PNB)?

We don't have a publication date yet for the Commentary - sorry we are working on it.

Always amazed me, that are guidance notes to help understand the Regulations, then commentaries on how to understand the guidance notes.

Ian

It is good to hear that you are revising the Commentary on The Wiring Regulations.

Spin

Paul Cook's Commentary goes a lot further than the Guidance notes and in my view it is the definitive text book on the theory of electrical installation work.

I have several Editions of the book on my book shelf and I would recommend it to anyone who really wants a detailed understanding of installation theory.

If I could only take one book to my desert island it would be this one.

'Tis now available for down load, but of course not under"update book". You need to use the account tab and then update library of course

I'm not surprised any more....
With this TN-S, TN-C-S, PNB ,SNE, CNE thread on the boil. There appears to be only one person who understands its intricacies, sorry, perhaps three, and the rest of us are floundering in the wind with our sails akimbo.....

Nail the official ( EAWR, BS7430, BS7671) definitions and terminology followed with a clear explanation of why it has to be then we would be singing from the same metaphor

Personally I would prefer a book with blank pages; far more useful for HELP notes in bottles.

Take enough bottles and the book will appear blank anyway.
