A fuseboard change up to 8 ways, anywhere in the country for only £399 inclusive of V.A.T., within 24 hours.

Who are they trying to kid? As an ordinary member of the public, who is still compos mentis and reads the Sage magazine, would you take this up? Not to mention a magazine, that doesn't arrange for the glaring errors to be corrected, is this a reflection of the standard of education in the country, or imported from the east.

LOL, the NIC - EIC has a hyphen!

I thought my spelling and grammar were bad but that is appalling.

I would love to see some of their work if they put as much care and effort in to it as they have their web site

They don't appear on the NICEIC nominal roll. They also appear to be a very large company as one of the logos they display is based in Ontario Canada. Also is that not KJS of this forums logo on their impressive list?

Ha ha it is just that logo!

They seem to be using the old scam of using CPS scheme logos of their supposed subcontractors!

I don't get the SAGA magazine, does this mean I'm less than 60 years old?

When at college I was taught:

Ohm's Law
Lenz's Law
Kirchoff's Law

I must have been absent for the SOD'S LAW lesson!

That's the one you learn at the university of life - it modifies every other law !!

remember that one about "constants that aren't" and "variables that won't" - there's a bit of sod's law in there -

Should I take this as a compliment, until things go t^ts up.

Not only unauthorised use of my company logo, but also Electrical Safety Council and possibly others.

Why would anyone be registered with both Elecsa and NICEIC?

I have no association with this organisation.

Trading Standards and Saga perhaps. Nice marketing though those poor old people spending their meager pensions on fuse board replacements from a trusted company who must be good as they were in the Saga magazine!

I politely asked them the following:

My query by their webform:
My Message is :
Hi there, You say that ' Extra MCBO RCCDS can be fitted' in a fuseboard. What's an MCBO? Thanks.

Their Reply by email:
Its a Milliamp Trip device .

About the only acronym fitting MCBO I could find is Malignant Chronic Bowel Obstruction
