Hello all

I have recently had all my ICE objectives signed off for CEng after almost 4 years on the job. I am taking a sabbatical to support my father's company and develop a property for a year or so.

I'm wondering what the suggested procedure is for progressing chartership during this time. I have resigned from my company as I was not sure how long this may last (circumstantial). Presumably I cannot sit the review if I am not employed by an agency supporting the scheme?

Any tips for best to progress and whether I may be able to independently sit the review during this time? I intend to meet one of the reviewers before my notice period is up to explain the situation and discuss my options.

All help or guidance sincerely appreciated.

Thank you,
Tim

Sorry, not an answer to the questions, but I have reported this thread as a duplicate.

You may try to talk to a mentor or PRA.
