hi everyone, I am thinking of apply for Ceng, if I apply through IET, do I have to find a Ceng to become my supporter ? or referee? because I don't know any Ceng right now around me. Also I am living in somerset, can i speak to someone to give me advice? Many thanks in advance.

Hi
Your best place to start is to contact a Professional Registration Advisor who can help you with this. http://www.theiet.org/membership/profreg/find-advisor/ In terms of supporters, this page outlines who your ideal sponsors will be. http://www.theiet.org/membersh.../ceng/apply/index.cfm Without the support of a registered engineer, it would be difficult for a panel to assess an application with a sufficient level of confidence. That said, your advisor will explore options with you. You could also consider asking for an IET mentor who could spend more time working with you on a development plan towards registration.
