I'm just successfully completed the Graduate diploma (ECUK) in Electrical Engineering. Please let me know my qualification is equivalent to BEng or not..
Thank you.. |

I cannot speak for the IET, but in my eyes you're qualified above BEng(Hons) if that helps.
Good luck. |

Unfortunately, I cannot give much time on this as I would like to. But if you enter 'Engineering Council Graduate Diploma :CV' or variations on this, you will see CVs of engineers who have passed these exams.
What you should see are a number of UK University lecturers and Professors, including from Oxford and Cambridge, who've passed these exams since graduating with PhDs. In my view if Professors are eagar to take these exams, then they are certainly worth more than your average BEng(Hons) degree, wouldn't you say? There's also mention of the exams being equivalent to BEng degree on Wiki pages. Good luck. Edited: 09 August 2012 at 07:37 PM by mbirdi |

The City and Guilds have a document that confirms the Graduate Diploma as being equal to a BEng(Hons) degree.
Click on the link above. Then under 'General Information' scroll down to 'Additional Documents' for 'Everyone'. Click the 'Additional Documents' link and you will be able to download the document. Hope that helps. |
