The positive action IET Solent LN have taken provides a useful example for other LNs to follow.
However it is worth pointing out that in Scotland all three LNs, North, South East and South West have for quite a number of years organised similar workshops achieving attendances in the 30s and 40s. Attendances that include non-members as well as members. In other parts of the UK IET there members running similar workshops either in-company or as part of an LN's event programme. Such events provide a useful service for those members following an individual route towards Professional Registration helping to clarify the process through formal presentation and Q&A Ron McMurtrie |
