Due to the free University Education in Scotland, Will most Engineers of the future be from Southern Ireland, Scotland, or from other EU countries?

Northern Ireland, England and Wales, will have to pay up to £9,000. Which could put off potential Engineering Candidates?

Recent surveys showed that most EU students in Scotland came from Ireland, where fees are up to €7,474 (£6,290) a year, France, where fees can range from a few hundred to thousands of euros, and Germany, where universities are free in some states but in others cost at least €1,000 a year, plus other charges.

What will these potential NI engineers do instead, if they do not follow their engineering degree?

Some people will of course be deterred, but many will not as they can still borrow the money from the government and on reasonable terms.

Regards.
