I would support a candidate (one of the 10 members needed) by sending back the Nomination Form from the IET magazine but first of all how is it done, you might only know the candidate by the nickname on the forum, you don't know the name of the board he/she would prefer or the office or capacity or even if they would seek election. Fair enough Ballot papers for election will be mailed in May but how do you get someone on the candidate list in the first place is not very clear.

To propose a candidate whose name you do not know, you will need to first contact the candidate to learn their name, to ascertain their eligibility to be nominated, and to seek their confirmation that they are willing to put their name forward.
