Given that IEng engineers are heading for extinction, do you think the EC should take out an 'IEng preservation order'? That way employers can be prosecuted from making them redundant, given the current economic situation.

Isn't it just about 2 years ago now, since the EC decided that the name Incorporated Engineer was fine for 2 years and then it would be reviewed.

Maybe they are trying to boost the IEng image again just before the next review.
