Hi

Could anyone help me to clarify the term competent person, My employer is trying to get me to sign a document saying that I'm the site competent person for electrical, PUWER, DSEAR and confined space. They are stating that this is not the same as duty holder yet I think the word competent person does have an elements of responsibility in it.

Could anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks
