There is some gentle nudging going on behind the scenes to aid the movement of these forums to the Community Discussion Forums and the general discussion forums.

For example the general discussion forums will soon be available only here.

http://mycommunity.theiet.org/discussions

Anyway since there has been a lot of interest and debate on the topic of Climate Science and reducing our net CO2 emissions, would anyone like to support me in creating a new community called say:

"Earth, Water and Food Engineering Network"

To include people who want to learn more about the engineering implications of earth science, ocean science, meteorology and climate science studies; as well as people with an engineering interest in Mining Engineering (Energy and Mineral Extraction), Water Engineering (including desalination), Forest Fire Containment, Agricultural Engineering, Bioengineering and speculation and investigations concerning the need for Geoengineering solutions.

Any thoughts?
