I have been asked to quote for electrical and fire installation on a 12 apartment new build project.
Obviously I am excited at the prospect of a project of this sixze as up until noe I have only dealt with much smaller jobs. Given the size of this job and future prospects with this developer I am keen to get this spot on.
Does anyone have any helpful advice for getting it right from the off? Anything to watch out for etc.
I don't want the sheer scale of the job to cloud my thought processes too much.
Thanks in advance.

your in to £90k at least.

Pitfalls are the landlords intake position (ryefield boards, swa submains and metering are not cheap), and getting the bill for the new connection which could be anything circa £12k by itself. Worst case is that you have to pay for a new transformer which would be eye watering.

Depending on what part of the country you are in, your local DNO will have their own idea on what they want at the intake. Getting it wrong will cost you dearly, so let us or them know.

Please repost to the wiring regs forum where many minds will help you out.
