Hi all, thanks for your time reading this.
I sit my tower crane, pedestrian crane slinger and banksman license on monday. A 10 day course. I have a job on site lined up, straight up the crane no slinger duties etc I eventually want to become an off shore rustabout then work my way up as getting to become a crane op straight away will be a struggle. I have no offshore experience but i have read about becoming a slinger/banksman offshore doesnt require experience aslong as the oprative is competent. I know a bloke who has been on the rigs for 20+ years so this may come in my favour. Im just curious as to what offshore tickets i will require? Thanks again and pardon my punctuation and grammer as i have wrote this off my iphone. Reece |
