what test(s) should be carried on a newly constructed low voltage to test for its effectiveness?

I am young project engineer.its for industrial application.a company is assembling some electrical panels(80A-250A-current rating) for me and i intend testing them before they are been delivered to me

Contractually, you may be better advised to get the manufacturer to test them whilst you witness those tests.
For "normal use" you might want to consider the following: Visual examination of the exterior Visual Examination of the interior Torque testing of manufactured joints "Ductor" Continuity tests Insulation Resistance tests Current injection testing Functional operation checks Regards OMS ------------------------- Failure is always an option |
