I wonder if anyone else here is also a Professional Member of the British Computer Society (BCS)? You may have noticed that there's some controversy going on with it's transformation programme culminating in an EGM later this month with motions of no confidence in both the Trustees and the Chief Executive!
I've been reading around on the web but not come to clear view of the issues. Certainly the development of the CITP seems a bit 'lightweight' compared to CEng, to me although I can see that there is perhaps a role for a professional body for "IT" in it's wider sense, rather than "Computing".I was wondering if anyone else here had any thoughts? -- Mustafa Arif MIET MBCS |
