I suggest the CIBSE Code for Lighting, the SLL Lighting Handbook (Chapter 10) and Lighting Guide 1 should give you a range of design target illuminance to reflect the application.
You might also want to take a quick browse through HSE information and CIBSE TM 40 "Health Issues in Building Services" to understand the health and safety aspects of the lighting design Regards OMS ------------------------- Failure is always an option |
