As a fairly new entrant to this particular field, do any of the members have any recommendations for background information on the subject.
My real problem is penetrating the terminology. Principles no real problem with, more the description of function. |

To learn more about AGL in the first instance try the CAP637,Visual Aids Handbook, downloadable from the CAA website under publications. This give the basics explaining the AGL requirements for UK airfields. More technically detailed info is available in CAP168, Chapter 6, also downloadble from the CAA website. Hope this is helpful. |
