The agenda looks fruitful for me and I have one suggestion from my past experience, if the budget and time are allowed, more or longer networking time slot is necessary. As per my past times for the meeting, summit, conference or even technical seminars/visits, networking with others engineers and members are so valuable in which you can learn and gain from each other, thanks!

Hello all

Do we yet know how many YP Summit attendees will be staying over the night before (i.e. Thursday night)?

The Lecture Committee are in the process of finalising this year's IET Young Professionals' Event and it is possible it will be taking place on Thursday 13th October 2011.

Of course, it would be great if as many IET YP Summit attendees as possible could come along! Just think of the networking opportunity

We don't know numbers as yet - I'm hoping to get the invitations sent out early July so we will have a good idea of potentially how many people will be around on the Thursday night in the next month or so.

I agree that it would be agood opportunity for the delegates to do a litle informal networking before the summit and the conference weekend.

As per the posts on this messageboard the YP Summit and PATW Finals are to be held on 14&15 Oct, 2011, but the link mentioning PATW details says the London event is to be held on 9th November, 2011.

The 9th November refers to the national finals where all the different Ambition and Achievement Awards are also awarded to the winners.
