The basic plan is a formal dinner in Salisbury and have confirmed Andy Green (holder of the worlds land speed record and Bloodhound SSC project) as the after dinner speaker. I have negotiated reduced rates for those that wish to stay overnight and have organized a technical tour of Salisbury cathedral for the morning after.
All the details can be found on our website http://www.theiet.org/local/uk...ilts/salisoctmeal.cfm The networks involved so far are Dorset&S.Wilts, Bristol, Solent, Somerset/West wilts, Swindon, North Hants and Wales. I am also talking with Dan Saunders from the IET Regional development manager to engage some other business partners for sponsorship.
