Are speed camera detectors now illegal under the 2006 road safety act other than GPS systems, or is it still to pass into law.

From what I recall, detectors were legal to buy but not use ...the road safety act closed the almost pointless loophole.
Detectors are in any case almost pointless if you have satnav, and neither help with mobile / laser speed detectors as you can be 'zapped' before any warning is given.
