Companies must pay a legal minimum when they make an employee redundant. This is approximately 1 week pay per year of service for employees who are less than 41 years old and 1.5 weeks per year for employees older than that.
Most respected companies pay an enhanced amount often coupled with a compromise agreement but where can I find information on what the average payout is, who pays most and who least etc? Any info would be very much appreciated. |
