Hello,
This is my first post to the IET forums, so I hope I've posted this to the correct one! I am thinking of studying for a Diploma in Systems Practice and wondered if people thought this would be useful in an Engineering/Technology environment? I realise that Engineering/Technology is a very broad area, so I'd just like general advice please. Here's the link for anyone interested: http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/u...qualification/d42.htm Thanks for your time, Tim |

Thanks for your time, but unfortunately not very helpful advice.
Maybe I haven't been clear enough: I'm looking for an engineering perspective on Systems Practice rather than advice on the course itself. The course is just a vehicle to learning about Systems Practice. I would like to know if Systems Practice would be beneficial in an Engineering / Technology environment. Thanks again for your time. Hopefully someone that uses the ideas/methods in the OU courses for their job could help me out? |

At the tender age of my early forties I have decided to study an MSc in Systems Engineering part-time ... having gone down a narrow telecoms route in my previous study.
From what I've learnt so far I'd say go for it.. J. ------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J T G Nixon CEng MIET Ministry of Defence |
