Hi,

A simple question:

How does one pronounce "Eur Ing" as a prefix title?

I have searched the forum, and have tried search strings through google, but all to no avail.

Any input would be appreciated

Thank you.

Every time I have heard it spoken in English - it has been "Yoor in j" . The first syllable of "Eur-ope" followed by the first syllable of "Ing- enious"

This will differ slightly according to the accent and in other languages, my German is rusty but I think the pronunciation of Euro differs from English.

Any better suggestions out there?

As Roy says, or with a hard g rather than j, in Britain. In Spain, it is Oor ee ch (..ch as in loch).
