It's not straightforward, so we cannot automate it.

There are a wide range of IET Web services, operating under a single integrated log-in. Those include systems built by the IET (e.g. membership applications, MyIET), commercial off-the-shelf systems (e.g. these discussions, central event bookings, library OPAC), and platform providers (e.g. E&T Jobs, MyCommunity, LN event bookings, Career Manager).

Changes of username require changes across these systems, and may in some circumstances involve moving data between user records.

If you have a particular problem with your username, please contact the Webmaster for assistance. The work involved will depend on the extent to which you have created data and activity in the various systems.
