Would it be possible to include a spell-checker in the posting editor?

Spell checking is not provided in this editor. There are some possibilities with other editors, but an alternative approach is for you to use browser facilities. Firefox, for example, has spell-checking for text entered into form boxes (such as this message editor), so users of FF will get spell checking on this forum. There's an ieSpell add-on for Internet Explorer that I haven't personally tried.
Hope this helps. We're due to look at an upgrade to the discussion system soon, so we could review editors then. Regards ------------------------- David Rossall The Institution of Engineering and Technology |

I have installed a spell checker as an extension to my Firefox browser and it works in forms like the one I am typing in now.
