I'm getting a bit fed up with typing out respoces then getting server error messages on here. anyone else getting the same

Yes it does get quite annoying, I started copying the message prior to posting for now, also what is happening with the post counts a topic may have 10 responses but is only displaying 3?
PS the browser back button nearly always recovers the text in a reply ------------------------- Regards Martyn. Only a mediocre person is always at their best www.electrical contractors uk.com |

We've identified the cause of the problem that was causing errors when posting messages over the weekend and it is now fixed. Part fixed at best  . The count of posts is still off or is that to be corrected also my chrome browser just posted my reply twice.

That's an after-effect of the error. The error was ocurring at the point where the details of the thread were updated to reflect the new post, so post counts and last posters weren't being updated. The error won't happen again, but the message count and last poster of affected threads will still be inaccurate as a result.
