I have received a mailing - a posting of a message in this forum - which (according to my email server) is infected with "virus Exploit.PDF-9669"

Absent an obvious "mail us with technical issues" link on the forums page, posting here seemed the obvious way to let you know.

Ian

Could you send details to webmaster@theiet.org please? You could also use the form via the help link at the bottom of each page.

Is this happening just for one forum notification, or for more, and does it happen for other messages? If for a forum notification, please tell us which message and thread this was so that we can investigate.

I do notice that there is a significant amount of discussion on the Web of spurious alerts for this virus, possibly linked to certain versions of ClamAV. Obviously if this were affecting you, then the alerts would happen for many of all of the emails you received, or at least those in HTML format.

You can also send me a private message via the forum if you would like to contact me directly.

Regards
