Iam IRFAN ELAHI, IET Student Member from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.
I was reviewing the IET Pakistan Network Page on theiet.org : http://www.theiet.org/local/asia/pakistan/events.cfm and sadly it didnt include not a single event arranged in Pakistan Network though we, the student members of IET along with other students in other Universities of Pakistan e.g GIKI, in perfect collaboration with IET PAKISTAN, had been really proactive in arranging multitude of events/seminars/workshops/training sessions (whose details can also be provided if required). Isnt it possible that the page for the PAKISTAN NETWORK be updated properly with the events that we had arranged and the events we intend to arrange in coming days? One more thing, isnt it possible that our programs and events be highlighted on the students news page of theiet.org : http://www.theiet.org/students/news-reviews/index.cfm Actually the basic purpose of this urge to be advertised is to make the world realize that global network of IET is really active in Asia as well and is dedicated to the development of Scientific, Engineering & Technology (SET) Community. It casts quite a dissapointment on us when we see our events not being acknowledged globally. Hopefully, you can assist us in rectifying this broken link so that our events be periodically highlighted in the proper sections of theiet.org website. We will be really thankful to hear a positive response from your end. Hope that you will consider our plea so that we may send details of all the events we had been arranging. |
