As an aerospace safety systems engineer working in Airbus,Bremen, I see that the steakhold and the "weight" of the Airbus UK engineering departments is going to decrease with the withdrawal of BAE from Airbus. I beleive the reason BAE withdrew from Airbus was that they decided to invest their money in defence where they would make more money.
