There are 6 ct for differential protection, where is the location of the CT?, is it at the transformer bushing?, how about generator?

For a transformer, One per phase on both the primary & secondary sides.

For a generator you need one at each end of each of the phase windings (ie. 3 at the 'star point' end, just before the windings are joined) & 3 at the output end.
