also see "UK joins test reactor project in France with £12.5m commitment" http://www.the-weinberg-founda...ith-12-5m-commitment/ Perhaps the techtonic plates governing British Government policy on nuclear have started to shift in favour of developing a new set of safer and cheaper nuclear power technologies with reduced long lasting radioactive waste production. My fear is that we just end up wasting all this money on investigating a new generation of fast reactor designs. Been there done that - plenty of times! James Arathoon |
