Can someone help me on this simple problem. I am stuck on the following pdf

How did this person get Id1, Id2 in equation (1-2) and why are the currents at Bus1 not the same at bus 2? I have drawn it out many times and i can not see how to find the current components for "Ir" and "Is" when using trigonometry.

I guess there are two currents Isending and Ireceiving but he hasn't shown on the on the phasor diagram Fig(1.1b). If someone could point out to me where they are on the phasor diagram I can then draw it.

I am just concentrating on the rectangular form of Isending which = Id+jIq

Much appreciated.
