Hi guys,

How to size the breaker for the primary transformer beside the normal formula?, i believe there are several factor to be considered beside the input current based on I=KVA/(1.732*V)

Hi,

Important aspects are short-circuit interrupting rating (symmetrical/asymmetrical) and short-circuit withstand ratings (including duration). Fault levels shall be evaluated at the point of breaker location to define these requirements.
